This video goes into detail about the 7 chakras, how to balance and activate them, and their true purpose in the human body.
What is a Chakra?
Chakra is the East-Indian word, for the 7 colored energy centers, that are contained within the human body. According to the Sanskrit philosophy, the chakras are in this order and color, root (red), sacral (orange), solar plexus (yellow), heart (green), throat (blue), third eye (indigo), and crown (violet).
While chakras are not actually visible, or can be seen with the physical eye, they are said to be visible, within the other realms of the electromagnetic spectrum of light. It is important to remember, human eyesight is vastly limited, in its ability to process light, and because of this, the human eye only sees around 1% of the electromagnetic light spectrum.
The Endocrine Glands
The commonly held belief, is that, in fact, the chakras are balls of energy. However, this is actually inaccurate. During the time chakras were discovered, humans had not figured out how to dissect the human body, for information. The discovery of the chakra system dates back to over 5000 years ago, and was actually the first discoveries of the endocrine gland system.
What are the endocrine glands?
The endocrine glandular system, is actually the chakra system. The two of these, are the same thing. The endocrine system, is the scientific, biological, and accurate terminology, for the words of chakra.
The following glands correspond to the following chakras.
- Root chakra = Prostate/Fallopian tube
- Sacral chakra = Testicles/Ovaries
- Solar plexus chakra = Adrenal glands
- Heart chakra = Thymus gland
- Throat chakra = Thyroid gland
- Third eye chakra = Pituitary gland
- Crown chakra = Pineal gland
What is the purpose of the chakras/glands?
The purpose of the chakras and endocrine glands, is to maintain balance and homeostasis within the body. All of the chakras are necessary to the body, and maintaining proper health and function within the body. Each gland, releases specific hormones, which trigger chemical messengers to interact with the nervous system.
The key to understand, is that a change within the physiology of a person, creates a change in the sensation, perception, and reality of an individual. What does this mean? It means, that different states of consciousness, and thus vibration, are created within a person, as these different hormones are released within the body. The human body produces a myriad of chemicals from epinephrine, dopamine, serotonin, adrenaline, and so many more. All of these chemicals, when released, activate “specific chakras”, which then change the consciousness of an individual.
Here is a breakdown, of the 7 chakras/endocrine glands, and how they interact with the energy system of the body.
What is chakra balancing and activation?
It is common among the New Age, and western spiritualits communities, (as well as Eastern spirituality), to talk about “balancing and activating the chakras”. Here is the truth to this concept. Activating the chakras, is actually already happening. As we discussed in the earlier segments, the chakras are the endocrine glands, therefore, they are already activated and working properly. If they were not working properly, then your body would not function properly. You would be sick, and suffer from disease.
This is why people suffer from diseases such hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, sleep deprivation, and various other ailments. The energy, or bio-electricity, is not functioning properly, within that specific chakra or endocrine gland.
The Root Chakra
The root chakra, is correlated with the prostate gland and the fallopian tube. It is the lowest energy center, and is considered to be the base chakra. This gland is responsible for survival, fear, fight or flight, feeling grounded, secure, present within the body, and attached to the Earthly realm.
The prostate gland releases testosterone, and the fallopian tubes release estrogen. Both of these, are responsible for sex hormones, survival, and fight or flight. This energy center is the lowest vibrational point on the body (note, that does not mean this is bad, or negative, it is simply the vibrational resonance, of the gland).
The Sacral Chakra
The sacral chakra, is correlated with the reproductive glands. For men, the penis and testicles, and for women, the vagina. Both of these glands, are incredibly powerful energy centers, which release a variety of hormones, such as testosterone and estrogen. These sex hormones, are used, to attract the opposite sex, and to magnetize the human body. They, of course, are also used for reproduction, and creating life.
These glands, while heavily over-emphasized in our society, are still a lower form of vibrational energy. Partaking in the constant depletion of energy, stored within these chakras, (through intoxicated, low-vibrational, lustful, and meaningless sex, causes depletion oif these “chakras”, one’s entire energy field, and their vital life force energy.
Solar Plexus Chakra
The solar plexus chakra, is correlated with the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands release adrenaline, and epinephrine, which are fight or flight release hormones. All 3 of the “lower chakras:, are primarily responsible for the growth, survival, and reproduction of the biological organism (the human body).
This energy center, focuses on the idea of personal power, strength, confidence, leadership, individuality, and “ego persona”.
An individual with a weak solar plexus chakra, will be timid, afraid, easily bullied, stepped on, or belittled. They will have trouble finding their purpose in life, and living authentically. An individual who has an overactive solar plexus chakra, will be very controlling, egotistical, addicted to power, controlling others, and manipulating others. Many people, who love the feeling of controlling and dominating others, have overactive solar plexus chakras.
Having a balanced solar plexus chakra means a person is confident, but not arrogant, assertive and sure of them self, but not belittling to others. They have a clear vision, purpose, and drive in life, and strive to achieve their goals, dreams, and aspirations, without overly seeking power, control, or by using manipulation.
The Heart Chakra
The heart chakra, is associated with the thymus gland. The thymus gland, is responsible for the immune system. It helps fight diseases, with its “helper T cells”, special leukocytes, which fight diseases. The ancient Egyptians considered the thymus gland, and the heart chakra, to be the one of the most important glands of the human body.
This was not only because of the immense role it played in the health and wellness of an organism, but also because of the spiritual significance that the thymus plays within the human body. The thymus gland, is the energy source, of the human bio-electrical field. This is also known as the merkaba, auric field, energy field, soul, and by many other names.
An under active thymus gland, or weak heart chakra, will cause a person to struggle to feel love, compassion, empathy, and understanding towards other people. It will lead to negative, hateful, and closed off behavior. A person will not be accepting of others,, and will struggle with having an open mind.
A person with a balanced heart chakra and thymus gland, will be able to emit love, compassion, empathy, and be accepting of others effortlessly.
The Throat Chakra
The throat chakra, is correlated to the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is responsible for controlling metabolic functions, heart, muscle, and digestive functions. In order to have a healthy functioning thyroid gland, consuming enough iodine is necessary.
The throat chakra, when out of balance, will cause a person, to be unstable in their communication. They may frequently tell lies, be insincere, and simply not be able to express themselves authentically. They may feel that they are wearing a mask, and are not sure who they really are.
When the throat chakra is balanced, healthy, and in alignment, a person easily feels they can express themselves, their opinions, and what they believe. They speak their highest truths, and are able to share anything from their heart. Balancing the throat chakra is the key, to aligning with one’s highest purpose in life.
Third Eye Chakra
The third eye chakra, is correlated with the pituitary gland. This gland, is responsible for the well-being and mastery of the other glands around it. It is considered the “master gland”. It controls the other glands within the body, and works in conjuction, with the hypothalamus, to regulate all other glands.
The pituitary gland releases Human Growth Hormone (HGH), and other regulating hormones, for the other endocrine glands. It is used as an activator, to release hormones, which then stimulate the activation of these glands.
The crown chakra is correlated with the pineal gland. It is considered to be the most “mystical” gland of the body, because of its immense spiritual connection.
The pineal gland, is responsible for producing two powerful hormones, melatonin, and dimethyltryptamine. Melatonin, is a hormone, produced by the body, in order to regulate the sleep and awake cycles of the body. This hormone is responsible for our internal biological clock, receiving proper rest and sleep, and repairing all cells and DNA during periods of rest. Melatonin, during the nigh hours, converts to endogenous DMT. Its important to realize, that the body produces its own stores of N-N-DMT, and 5-MEO-DMT, which are “endogenous”. These stores are activated through intense meditation practices, energy training, and during REM sleep.
DMT is responsible for the production of dreams, as it is the chemical messenger, or hormone, which FULLY activates a person’s energy field, and shifts their vibration, to another dimension.
The pineal gland is one of the most important glands within the human body, because of how it can activate and change the perception of reality. Once it is fully activated, the consciousness of an individual, is drastically upgraded, expanded, and altered. For more information on the pineal gland and how to activate it, see the following article. For an in depth, course, on the pineal gland, learn more here.
